Bring your whole family and play when you are not enjoying our live demos and entertainment.  We will have designated play areas for adults and children of all ages where families can explore kick darts, corn hole, pickleball, golf darts, golf billiards, and more.  No extra cost!

We have a variety of educational and hands-on activities where you can learn from experts in a safe environment while having fun.  You can learn to shoot a bow, get help with your golf swing, learn how to tie a fly, learn how to shoot a rifle, and more with hands-on demonstrations.

Come see the animals of Green Roof Acres mobile petting zoo, and while you're petting the animals, talk to Tracy & Martina about having your next event at their farm complete with animal photo shoots.  Located in Hollidaysburg PA, this local farm aims to bring a unique  sustainable Agri-tourism experience to the area.

You can shop for firearm accessories, hunting equipment, or other outdoor gear, purchase memberships at ATV & Sportsman's Clubs around Pennsylvania, plan your camping trip, buy some locally produced honey or maple syrup, and more with over 300 outdoor or nature related vendors to shop.

Come check out Jeep vs. Bronco compete for King or Queen of the Allegheny Mountains at our off-road vehicles show.  Vote for your favorite vehicle to win King or Queen of the mountain.  Or register your off-road vehicle for a chance to win some amazing prizes.

We will be giving away prizes in random prize drawings throughout the event & prize winners will be announced over the loudspeaker.  Don't miss your chance to win a Yeti Cooler, passes to Rock Run, wine & moonshine gift baskets, or other cool prizes courtesy of our vendors & sponsors.

We have a lot of experts in many different outdoor and nature related topics that will be presenting & we will have an ask the expert session where you can ask our participating experts your questions.  In addition, our vendors are experts in their businesses and welcome questions from the crowd.   You'll meet a lot of good folks while you're in the Wild Alleghenies.

Take a photo with your friends at our selfie booths located in designated areas throughout the event, complete with nature or camping scenes and fun masks & props for you to use.

We will be hiding an assortment of rubber ducks around the event and with vendors/sponsors for our "JEEP-ster" egg hunt for the kids.  A few lucky ducks will come with a prize card that you can take to a designated vendor/sponsor listed on the card to claim your prize.

Come see a Pennsylvania firefighting legend's first fire truck that he drove when he was 18.  Nick Marlowe will be doing a presentation on fire safety and his truck will be on display while helping us create the barrier needed to bring the beer served by the Altoona Curve outside.  Stop by and thank Nick for his service and for dedicating his life to saving others.

We have partnered with the Huntingdon Chapter of the NWTF to bring a sanctioned calling event to the Wild Alleghenies.  Pending approval of our sanctioning application, we will have youth and adult divisions available, more info to come.  Check out our competition registration section here for more details or to register for the contest.

Jump in this human-sized hamster wheel and end with an ice-cold shaved ice.  This wheel by Kinetic Kreations averages 40 snow cones per hour, needs 4 revolutions to make a snow cone, and has participants ranging from age 2 to 92 (plus one dinosaur).  How fast can you make the wheel go?    

How many hot dogs can you eat in one sitting?  Put your gut to good use by eating hot dogs to pay for service dogs and register for our hot dog eating contest to benefit local non-profit Service Paws of Central PA.  Register to be a participant to win a cash prize, gift basket & trophy on Eventbrite here.  

There will be plenty of activities for kids of all ages, including our Nerf Shooting Gallery.  The Kid's Zone will be open so that you can explore the event while your kids play.

If you're an experienced skateboarder, bring your boards out to grind with the skaters at SK8-1-4 who will be bringing ramps and rails out to set up a skateboard park in our Allegheny Fun Zone.  Learn the basics from the SK8-1-4 team while you're there or just have fun watching these skilled skaters catch some air.

Living Treasures Animal Park will have their photo opp booth available for photos with live animals.  Put your photos on merch to create a lasting family memory of your time at the Wild Alleghenies Expo.

We have food trucks, specialty coffees, old-fashioned soda & sweet teas, trail snacks like pretzels and beef sticks, indulgent treats, wine & moonshine tastings and sales, and the Altoona Curve will be providing beer concessions.  You'll need to refuel after a game of kick darts or pickleball so that you have enough energy to do all the other fun activities at the event.

Learn about some varieties of solid hardwood that don't need to be stained or sealed, require little to no maintenance, last 30-50+ years (even in PA winters) & are more affordable than composite decks.  Then watch the expert carpenters from Integrity Construction and Windows build a mini deck using this sustainably harvested real solid wood.
