Many events, even established ones, fail to drive foot traffic because they don't invest money into advertising, entertainment, or activities for the guests. The large sports & outdoor show in Harrisburg attracts over 200k visitors each year and even the smaller outdoor shows in PA bring crowds of 2500+. With room for 500 vendors and an advertising budget of $10,000 we expect the crowd to reach a very conservative estimate of 3000-5000+. The Wild Alleghenies Expo will be the featured event on Visitpa.com newsletters for September with over 160k subscribers, and is being promoted on Visitpa.com with 50,000 paid impressions. We are also promoting the event on Eventbrite and outdoor/nature related magazines that have up to 65K subscribers right in Pennsylvania. 1000 event signs will be posted on main routes all over the Allegheny Mountains region.
